To get to my kitchen.
I have something of a chicken collection. 23, I believe, the last time the kids counted. It started out innocently enough. As a child I played among Eucalyptus trees in the area where my Great-Grandma's chickens had their coups. They were all different, and so beautiful. Not the plain white ones we see in commercial settings here in the US. When I see a funky chicken I can't help but smile and think of carefree times.
The thing is...once you get more than one... they seem to multiply like bunnies.
What collections can be found
around your home?

I actually don't collect anything, but my Step-MIL collects chickens and roosters as well!
LOL! I forgot to mention that they're all chickens to me. My family has gotten so used to it that they don't even bother to correct me re. them being roosters anymore. :)
Oh, and you collect comments like whoah ;-)
OHHH the striped chicken and the animal print chicken are the cutest things ever!!! Good thing I don't know where you live...I'd be tempted to come...."borrow" both of those lol
It is funny how certain things come to have special meaning..., there is always a story behind collecting. I don't really collect anything..., but I do like chickens actually.
I try not to collect with our constant moves, but somehow every move we still get more and more boxes, so we must be collecting something. Your chickens are darling.
Cute, cute cute!
Just stopping by to say hello and to see what you've been up to.
Hugs!

Collections always seem to multiply. I know mine does. At my house, there is a collection of elephants (mine), a collection of vintage radios (his), and an Egyptian collection (the child's). All of which continously grow.
Oh, btw, thanks for the heads up on my background! I think it was a blogger moment cause it was okay when I checked it. Who knows?! :)
I know I can always count on finding photos of hot chicks when I visit your blog.

P.S. Hope all is well with you...
I love chickens too. Pretty much any type of bird. Fun!
