During my recent visit to the Imperial War Museum...

I saw this wall of drawing done by school children.

As moving and thought provoking as all the planes,
tanks, and assorted war machines are
up close and personal, I have to admit,
I think these crayon scrawlings touched me more.

Children's drawings on the wall of the Imperial War Museum.

From the mouths of babes.

This one made me smile. And gave me a bit of hope:

Everything's better with a bit of sunshine,
some palm trees, and a pretty rainbow!

I'm enjoying...

All the yummy bread...

and fresh veggies...

and the beautiful views.

Soon I'll be back home with the sunshine, palm trees, my FL family and friends.

I definitely have the best of both worlds, and I'm thankful for it every day.

I Miss the Shops...

I miss the adorable little shops in the UK...

The abundant farmer's markets...

It seems every ethnicity is represented along London's streets...

including my own: Portuguese.

And I miss homemade blackberry jam.

Really looking forward to getting back to England.

But have to admit I'm loving
the beautiful, warm weather
here in Florida in the mean time!

Looking Towards the Future...

and all that 2011 holds for me.

Grassy Key, FL, New Year's 11

For all the tough times 2010 held,
I am so very thankful for all the good.

Here's hoping that this year is filled with
family, friends, fun, food, and most of all:

Love.
