St. Augustine, FL...or maybe not?

Josh and I are trying to figure out where to take our annual mini-road trip to this year. We did Key West last year and are tempted to head right back down. I've heard great things about St. Augustine though, and think it might be the way to go.

Have you been there? Any suggestions?

I'd love to hear them!

Update: Just realized it's quite a bit north of us...being that we'll be going to celebrate my B-day at the end of December this could mean chillyness. My life is all about avoiding any weather where I can't wear my flip flops so I might need to re-think this.

Any suggestions for alternatives in points south?

I've been once when I was like 8 so I'm probably useless. Plus it was in Febrary so it was kind of miserable! Yeah, I'm no help...

mydogumentary and I must've been there at the same time. lol. A mini road trip sounds fantastic though.

I'm afraid of that...I think it might be north of here...gonna map it real quick - you'd think I'd've done that first, right?...Oh, my! It sure is north of here. That could mean coldness. I'm thinking I need to head south because this will be end of December. Back to the drawing board - better update my post! lol

I haven't been to St. Augustine but I love Key West, another place I really like is Sarasota and the beaches around...

I can't help you decide - I've never been there before, but isn't it the old city in America - or something like that?

thanks for the comment!!

You should definetly go to St. Augustine. I have been there a few times. Last time we went we stayed here:www.westcotthouse.com. There is so much character and history there and its makes it a unique experience.
